In This Issue: June 2009

No theme, and a really mixed group of articles this month. Charles Pragnell argues forcibly for children’s rights, as against parents’, when it comes to access. Keith White applauds Facebook with a moving story. Elaine has written the third episode about Aleesha, bringing us up to date in her development, education and care. Anton Tobé has written about fostering in Serbia and other developments in their reform of child care services. The two Key Texts this month (by Harold Skeels and Martin Wolins) focus on residential care. Professor Ewan Anderson describes the only MA course in residential care and boarding education. The Child Care History Network are looking for people to join. And the Editorial this month looks at our need to be careful in deciding on the values that should underpin child care services.
